Motorways of the Sea Conference
On behalf of Brian Simpson, the European Coordinator for Motorways of the Sea (MoS), I would like to invite you to the forthcoming MoS
Conference on ”Benefits to the society, maritime climate investments and job opportunities”.
Under the global objective of making transport at sea a truly environmentally and energy efficient mode whilst meeting international obligations, we’ll be listening to serveral Joint Industry Projects co-funded via MoS under TEN-T. They will share with us their experiences when building and retrofitting LNG/Methanol/Scrubber vessels and terminals.
We will also take part of the next generation of projects where batteries and new solutions are used, ballast water treatments installed as well as getting the latest results from the benefits to the society measurements of these green investments.
Finally, but not least, is private financing and investment banking on the agenda with the possibilities offered by the new Connecting Europe Facility (CEF), the on-going Call for proposals will be addressed, the solution for the Financial Instrument Pilot to continue the transition to a more safe, environmentally and energy efficient transport at sea will be presented and the importance of collaborating cross-border is shown.
The Conference will take place in Gothenburg, Sweden, on the 9-10 of November. Starting at 09.00 day 01 and ending at 13.00 day 02 with a lunch together with the MonaLisa 2.0 project.
